Vanja is a Landscape Architect with a specific interest in cultural heritage. Through her various project works Vanja explore ways that cultural heritage can be a part of the design solution. She thrives from the challenge of designing sustainable solutions whilst pro-actively working sustainable development and contemporary landscape architecture. A driving force in her daily work is to create timeless architecture and to build with respect and care for humans and nature.

Vanja has worked as a horticulturist at Rosendals Trädgård in Stockholm. Here she developed an interest in landscape architecture and an understanding of why it is important to provide good landscape architecture for both social, economic and environmental reasons, in urban as well as in a rural context.

Whilst studying at SLU Ultuna in Uppsala, Vanja worked part-time at a landscape architect office in Stockholm, where she participated in projects focusing on culture heritage, such as Artillerigården in Stockholm and Slottsparken in Uppsala. Beside that she worked with school grounds and participated in competitions. Vanja was a member of the academy of cultural heritage, where she organized hearings and lectures about culture heritage as a key to sustainable development.
