Ski

This was an open plan and design competition for the center square in Norwegian Ski. A smaller town 20 kilometers outside Oslo. Growing and wishing to create a place with strong identity. The task was a conversion from a parking lot to an urban square area, a gathering place for function and stay for all residents. Our proposal gives place for various events and activities during the year. In summer, the slope forms an amphitheater, while the elevation makes an ice rink possible during the winter. The proposal was developed in collaboration with Kellgren Kaminsky, who designed the pavilion in the center. We had a shared third prize in the competition.
