Selmas park

MARELD was rewarded with a second prize in the general competition for the new park lane, which connects to Selma Lagerlöfs Torg. We called our design strategy “Triple Helix” and it consists of three supporting elements: landforms, water and places.

Excerpt from the jury’s judgment: “Triple Helix is an elegant proposal with a classic park layout. The walkways and vegetation create sweeping lines and nice room spaces that can be activated and programmed. The timeless design is supplemented in text with arguments on social sustainability, collaboration and ecology.”
