Kyllingsån

Vårgårda is a nice small community in the middle of Västra Götaland. For several centuries, the Kyllingsån river was an important part of everyday life there, but in recent decades it’s influence has diminished. Therefore, MARELD has developed a development program that is based on the unique conditions of Kyllingsån and creates qualities for both Vårgårda residents and visitors. Several new connections to and across the river, activities, experiences and new functions that return the Kyllingsån River to a living part of society have been proposed. The development program also proposes improved GC connections and a new entrance to Vårgårda at national road 42.
