In collaboration with Lootusprojekt (Estonia) we won first prize in the open idea comeptition in Tartu, Estonia.
The starting point of the proposal is a park that is rich in experience and changing over time. The main focus is on carefully thought-out planting strategies and modeling of landforms, which create a versatile space. The selected species, planting strategies and habitat types encourage biodiversity and all year-round use. The park becomes a social meeting place and an attraction for both locals and visitors.
Comments from the jury:
”This is a project that values the existing green network and seems simple, clear and natural. The planned activities are not permanently over-regulated, the work is well thought out, functional and logically realizable in stages.”
